Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ADVx (rideadvx.com), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions (ADVx Pro)

ADVx Pro is an optional paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly. The price is shown before you subscribe, and your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Payment is collected by the channel you subscribe through: the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our web checkout (processed by Stripe). Pro attaches to your ADVx account and works across the site and the apps regardless of where you subscribed.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel wherever you subscribed:

• Apple App Store — Subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
• Google Play — Subscriptions in the Play Store.
• Web — "Manage or cancel subscription" on your Account Details page.

Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's own refund policies — refund requests for those go directly to them. Web subscriptions are non-refundable: cancelling stops future charges, and you keep Pro until the paid period ends. Where consumer law gives you a right of refund or withdrawal, that right is unaffected — contact us and we will honour it.

Price changes and failed payments

Subscription prices may change. If a price change affects an existing subscription, you will be notified in advance and can cancel before the new price takes effect. If a renewal payment fails, your Pro access may end at the close of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not own or have the right to share.
• Use ADVx to harass, impersonate, or harm other users.
• Upload malicious files or attempt to interfere with the service.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract data from ADVx by automated means.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of all GPX files, waypoints, photos, and other content you upload to ADVx. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and share it as directed by you (for example, when you share a track with a riding group). We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. Do not share routes or locations that could endanger yourself or others, or that violate access restrictions (such as private land or protected areas).

Riding safety

ADVx provides information tools only. Route data, waypoints, and maps are provided for reference and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Always exercise your own judgement on the road or trail. ADVx is not responsible for decisions made based on content found on the platform.

Intellectual property

The ADVx name, logo, and all original software and design are the property of ADVx and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Limitation of liability

ADVx is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, personal injury, or property damage incurred on routes shared via the platform.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Account Details page. We may suspend or terminate access to the service at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any other reason.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ADVx after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
